Freya Huffman is a passionate educator whose focus is on adult learning, technology and performance improvement. She has over 25 years of experience training adult learners in fortune 200 and 500 companies and at the collegiate level at various colleges. As a technology consultant and career coach, she trains organizations, entrepreneurs and professionals on technology tools that improve productivity, performance while providing a ROI. She has designed courses for businesses, authors, entrepreneurs, ministries and corporations. She has spoken at Training Magazine and Tech Learn Conferences on the topics of Virtual Training and ROI.
Freya has been an adjunct Professor at Strayer University, University of Phoenix, Argosy University and Miller-Motte Technical college in an Instructor Led Training (ILT) and virtually. She was named Faculty of the Quarter at the University of Phoenix and served as Area Chair over the Information Technology Department.
She has been employed in the following industries: Manufacturing, Human Resources, Payroll, Higher Education, Nuclear, Ministry and Insurance.
She founded the Teknowlogy Factory in 2004, a technology training and employee development organization in 2004 to help small businesses and entrepreneurs develop their technology skills while providing technology consulting solutions.
She is a member of Toastmasters and holds a Human Resources Certification from HRCI.
She is a graduate of Claflin University where she earned a basketball scholarship and earned a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Computer Science. She earned a Masters in Business and Information Technology from Keller Graduate School of Management and has ABD in Education with a concentration in Training and Performance Improvement from Capella University. She also earned a co-op from Westinghouse and completed graduate courses at Clemson University.
She is a huge sports fan with some of her favorite teams being the Boston Celtics, UConn, Clemson, the Pittsburgh Steelers, and the Atlanta Braves.
